Hey friends!  SO very excited to be sharing a peek in to Ryan & Jena’s wedding here on the blog today!  Ryan and Jena fell in love about as casually as two people can.  Neither of them were looking for love when they found each other, but when it’s right, it’s right, you know?  So one fine, warm, sunny day in May found these two souls, who were most certainly not beating down any doors looking for love, promising each other the rest of their days.  And it was lovely.  And a stunning reminder that you really can trust God to bring you good things, even when you aren’t looking for them. 😉  Enough blathering from me…I’ll let the photos do the talking.

Jena surprised her mother and sister with jewelry (ring for her sister to match her own ring, and a necklace for her mother). Jena had the jewelry custom-made from dried roses that her grandfather had given her grandmother literally decades before.  How incredibly meaningful and sentimental, right?!  Jena was an absolute vision.  Obvs.

First look with her dad…and both of them worked valiantly to hold back to tears.

R+J chose the lovely Pretty Prairie Farm in Urbana, Ohio as the backdrop for their big day, and what a lovely canvas it was.  Pretty Prairie is a home as well as a venue, which lent an added charm and intimate feel to their day.

Anyone else crushing so hard on this stunning ceremony arch?!  Ryan crafted the arch himself, twisting the branches into the perfect shape while they were still green.  Talk about forethought!  Roxanne of Perla Flor Designs added her touch, and the end result was absolute perfection.

Just happened to be full moon the evening of their wedding so we snapped a quick photo at dusk.
