FAQ
What the heck is an 'Adventure Session' ?!
Adventure sessions are a new (and much more fun) approach to getting photos of you and your man! Instead of nervously prepping for a night where you have to go out and try to conjure up a smile for the camera all evening, imagine hanging out just the two of you doing something you’d likely do for fun anyway. Then add one slightly crazy but always-up-for-a-party photographer and you’ve got the right idea. Read full deets about Adventure Sessions HERE.
I see you photograph intimate weddings and full weddings. How do you define an intimate wedding from a full wedding?
An intimate wedding is defined as a wedding with a complete guest list of no more than twenty-five people. Once the total number of people at your wedding is above that number, we move into full wedding territory.
Can you give me an idea for what my wedding photography investment might be?
Absolutely! Full weddings begin at $4,525. Find more info HERE, and don’t hesitate to reach out and I’ll email you a link to my wedding collections.
We are SO BAD in front of the camera. I'm sure you couldn't possibly make us look normal.
THING 1) The goal is never to make you look normal anyway. #BORING The goal is to have fun. And in my experience, when people are given permission to just relax and have fun, they look ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT in photos. So if you’re down for having fun, hit me up. We’ll have an adventure, you’ll have a riotous good time, and you’ll have photo memories to prove it. #WINWIN And as an added bonus you will realize that you’ve actually been awesome at photos all along. You just didn’t know it yet. (Click here for more about My Approach.)
I don't want a full blown photo session, just a few updated photos of me and the fam. Do you do mini sessions?
Yes, I do! Monthly Minis are held – wait for it – monthly…ish. ;p Find out more about upcoming minis HERE. Reach out directly and you just might get a say in the location for an upcoming monthly set of minis!
Do you travel for weddings and adventure sessions?
YES, I do travel for weddings…well sometimes! Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings all over – from a remote region in Canada to a farm in Redding, California to the hilly horse country of Tryon, North Carolina to Brooklyn Bridge Park in NYC. I love the places my camera has taken me, but it’s always the couples I get to photograph that make it magical. These days I’m chasing four kiddos around most days, so I’ve chosen to stay closer to home in central Ohio for *most* of the weddings and sessions I take on. That said, reach out to me here and tell me all about your wild idea for an adventure session, wedding, or elopement, and I’d love to chat!
