Elopements + Intimate Weddings | Investment Information

Here’s what you need to know about your intimate wedding, elopement, or destination wedding investment. First of all, thank you for reaching out!  I’m so honored that you’re considering inviting me to capture the incredibly special moments of this chapter of your story. Photographing the moments in which you promise to love someone for the rest of your days is my absolute joy and privilege!

WEDDING COLLECTIONS

All the collections below include the following.

  • Fully edited digital files of your day in a private online gallery hub.  Download your images directly from your online gallery and forward the link to family and friends who would also like access to photos from the day.
  • Custom engraved Keepsake Box + USB with your digital files.  While I love being able to share your images with you via a convenient online gallery, I think it’s a bit much to expect a bride and groom to download the entire gallery of photos.  So I provide a USB with your photos to save you the hassle.
  • Print release – feel free to take your photo memories anywhere to have them printed.  Make your own album.  Do your creative thang.
  • Custom wedding day timeline.  This might not seem like a big deal, but trust me when I say – having a great timeline can make or break your wedding day.  A minimum of two months prior to your day, we’ll chat through all the details of your day, create a shot list, chat through portrait locations, any potential family or location drama you’re concerned about, the works – and from that conversation, I’ll create a custom timeline for you to look over and approve.  This is one of my favorite ways to serve brides!  Planning an intentional timeline creates one all important thing – peace of mind on your wedding day.

ELOPEMENT

I love elopements because you truly can make the way you say ‘I do’ your own.  Whether you’re planning to hike to a remote waterfall with your officiant, or headed to city hall and want to have an urban, date-in-the-city elopement, I’d love to come along for the ride.  The plan for elopements is custom built around your vision for your nuptials. Here’s what’s included in a typical elopement collection:

  • one photographer
  • five hours of coverage (so we can hike or adventure wherever you like and not worry about time constraints)
  • custom engraved keepsake box with your names and  wedding date + a few of my favorite prints from your day
  • USB of your digital files + an online gallery for your convenience
  • custom ‘timeline meeting’ to plan out the logistics of your elopement, such as what time the light will be best for the photos you’re envisioning, etc.
  • print release – so you can take your digital filese anywhere you like to have them turned into works of art to display in your home

INTIMATE WEDDING

Intimate weddings have my heart.  There’s something so, well, intimate, about gathering with your closest circle of family and friends to celebrate this new chapter.  Whether you’re planning a quiet local ceremony, or headed to an exotic destination, count me in to capture the fun, the memories, and the moments you never want to forget with those you hold dearest.  Here’s what you’ll get if booking the intimate wedding collection is right for you:

  • six hours of coverage – typically this is plenty of time to cover getting ready photos, your ceremony, portraits, photos with your family/friends, and your intimate reception

DESTINATION WEDDING

(regular size wedding outside the state of Ohio)

I love traveling for weddings, and I’d be delighted to come capture your memories, wherever you may be tying the knot!  This collection is custom designed for all my out-of-state couples whose weddings don’t fall into the category of an intimate wedding (less than 25 people) or an elopement.  I wanted to create a collection that was trimmed back a bit from my regular wedding collections to hopefully make it affordable for me to travel to you.  Typically with weddings over 25 people, I work with a second photographer, but for destination weddings, I offer this collection that only includes one photographer.  While I love working with a second for local weddings, I’ve covered many a wedding on my own, and I wouldn’t offer this option if I didn’t believe I could do your day justice working solo.  Without further ado, here’s what’s included in the destination wedding collection:

  • one photographer
  • eight hours of wedding coverage
  • custom engraved keepsake box with your names and  wedding date + a few of my favorite prints from your day
  • USB of your digital files + an online gallery for your convenience
  • custom wedding day timeline meeting – we’ll chat two months prior to your date to plan all the details and ensure your day runs smoothly
  • print release – so you can take your digital filese anywhere you like to have them turned into works of art to display in your home

TRAVEL EXPENSES

Travel expenses are calculated in increments based on your distance from my home in Columbus, Ohio.  Below is an estimate of potential travel fees so that you can get an approximate idea of what it will cost to have me come to you.  I figure mileage, hotel, and a stipend for incidentals.

*These rates will vary, especially if your wedding will be held in premium tourist destinations or popular urban areas.

  • $500 – destinations within 250 miles of Columbus, Ohio
  • $1000 – destinations within 500 miles of Columbus, Ohio
  • Destinations beyond 500 miles require air travel and will be calculated case by case.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

*RAISE YOUR HAND* if it’s just nice to know when your wedding photography payments will be due, and what to expect so you can plan!  Yes?!  YES.

 

The total of whatever wedding collection you select will be divided into four separate payments.  The first payment is due within seven days of signing your wedding photography contract.  The remaining three payments are due 90, 60, and 30 days respectively prior to your wedding date.  For example, if you are getting married 12/1/2020, your payments will be due 11/1/2020, 10/1/2020, 9/1/2020 (with the first payment due whenever you sign).

Excepted payment methods are via check, Quick Pay with Zelle, or credit card.

Traditional style prints can be ordered directly from your online gallery after your session.  Prints will ship directly to you from my print lab when you place your order.  More print sizes are available in the online gallery, but above are a few of the most popular sizes for your reference.  Please note that you are free to take your photos to any lab of your choice to have them printed.

Canvases are a crowd pleaser, and for good reason.  No frame necessary – just a beautiful ready-to-hang statement piece to grace your walls.  Additional sizes and pricing available upon request.  15% discount offered when you order three or more canvases per order – to make all of your gallery wall dreams come true!

BOOKS

Memory Book – $349 

Classic hardcover 10×10 photo book with 100 pages of your wedding memories.  Book comes in multiple fabric colors, so you’ll be able to select the color that looks best with your wedding day vibes.  Also included is a full dust jacket with  multiple cover design options.  Pick a favorite photo for your dust jacket along with your title and tagline and you’ll have a stunning retelling of this chapter of your story.

ALBUMS

Linen Album – $850

Premium 10×10 layflat album with 25 pages/50 sides to display your favorite photos from your wedding day.  Album features ultra-thick layflat pages with a minimal gutter so images can span the full width of the album spread.  Book exterior comes in multiple fabric colors to match your wedding day aesthetic.  Title will be foil stamped in your choice of gold, silver, copper, or white.  This one is a beauty, and can be upsized to 12×12 or downsixed to 8.5×8.5. Additional pricing available upon request.
