WEDDING INVESTMENT INFORMATION

Hey there!  

Here’s what you need to know about your wedding photography investment. First of all, thank you for reaching out!  I’m so honored that you’re considering inviting me to capture the incredibly special moments of this chapter of your story. Photographing wedding day memories is my absolute joy and privilege!

WEDDING COLLECTIONS

Each of the three wedding collections below includes the following.

  • Fully edited digital files of your day in a private online gallery hub.  Download your images directly from your online gallery and forward the link to family and friends who would also like access to photos from the day.
  • Custom engraved Keepsake Box + USB with your digital files.  I overshoot – wildly + unapologetically.  These are your memories, and I take that seriously so it’s not unusual to have 100+ images per hour of scheduled shooting time.  While I love being able to share your images with you via a convenient online gallery, I think it’s a bit much to expect a bride and groom to download in the neighborhood of 1000 images from an online gallery.  So I provide a USB with your photos to save you the hassle.
  • Print release – feel free to take your photo memories anywhere to have them printed. For real.  I love printing freedom with photos, and so I give my brides + grooms the release to go printing wild at a photo lab of their choice.
  • Wedding day coverage.  I offer collections in three different increments – six hours, eight hours, and ten hours.  Check out each collection below for more details. I’d be happy to chat through the specifics of your wedding day and your photo priorities to help you decide which collection is right for you.
  • Two photographers (myself and a second shooter).  I work with a variety of second shooters, but most of them actually own their own photography businesses as well.  I love this, because in the event that something would happen to me on your day, I have complete confidence that the second photographers that I work with are more than able to step up, not miss a beat, and capture your day beautifully.  This hasn’t ever happened, thankfully, but I think preparedness is vital.
  • Custom wedding day timeline.  This might not seem like a big deal, but trust me when I say – having a great timeline can make or break your wedding day.  Around two-three months prior to your day, we’ll chat through all the details of your day, create a shot list, chat through portrait locations, any potential family drama you’re concerned about, the works – and from that conversation, I’ll create a custom timeline for you to look over and approve.  This is one of my favorite ways to serve brides!  Planning an intentional timeline creates one all important thing – peace of mind on your wedding day.

THE BASICS

SIX HOUR COLLECTION

Basic wedding day coverage for the couple interested in getting  the ‘main events’ of your wedding day captured.  This collection includes six hours of wedding day coverage, two photographers, a custom keepsake box and usb, an online gallery hub of your photos for easy sharing with friends and family, print release, and a custom wedding day photo timeline to ensure that your wedding day is well-captured and as on-schedule as possible!

GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT ‘THE BASICS’ COLLECTION:

This collection works best if several of the bullet points below are true of your day…

  • Your entire event will be held at one venue only (getting ready, ceremony, reception).
  • Your ceremony won’t be longer than thirty minutes.
  • You have a relatively small bridal party.
  • Either ‘reception/guest dancing photos’ OR ‘getting ready photos’ aren’t a high priority for you.  We can usually capture either getting ready photos OR more of your reception depending on your photo priorities.  I can chat you through these options!
  • You are not planning a formal reception exit (like sparklers, bubbles, or glowsticks).
  • Your main photo priorities are getting portraits of the two of you/family/bridal party, ceremony coverage, and a little reception coverage.

THE FAVORITE

EIGHT HOUR COLLECTION

This one is called ‘The Favorite’ for good reason! It tends to be the most popular choice for my couples. At eight hours of wedding day coverage, this one gives us time to really capture the significant moments of your wedding story.  We will be able to get the moments at the beginning of the day of you hanging out with your bridesmaids and slipping into your dress to the moments when you’re partying on the dance floor with all your favorite people. This collection obviously includes eight hours of wedding day coverage, two photographers, a custom keepsake box and usb, an online gallery hub of your photos for easy sharing with friends and family, a print release, and a custom wedding day photo timeline to ensure that your wedding day is well-captured and as on-schedule as possible!

GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT ‘THE FAVORITE’ COLLECTION:

This collection works wonderfully if…

  • Your ceremony + reception are held at the same venue.  Not a must…just something to factor in!  We’ll chat more about this when we do your timeline meeting if you are planning on separate venues.  NBD.
  • Your ceremony isn’t likely to last more than forty-five minutes.
  • You love details photos and want us to be sure to capture all the elements that have gone into creating the aesthetic for your special day! We adore capturing this stuff too! 😉
  • You want the significant moments of your reception captured – like your first dance, toasts, and cake cutting.

THE ALL-INCLUSIVE

TEN HOUR COLLECTION

All-inclusive because at ten hours of wedding day coverage, we’ve got time to capture it all.  From styling all your pretty little details at the beginning of the day to your ‘I do’s” to goldenhour photos and dancing the night away with your besties, this collection has. you. COVERED.   This one includes ten hours of wedding day coverage, two photographers, a custom keepsake box and usb, an online gallery hub of your photos for easy sharing with friends and family, a print release, and a custom wedding day photo timeline to ensure that your wedding day is well-captured and as on-schedule as possible!

GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT ‘THE ALL-INCLUSIVE’ COLLECTION:

This collection is AWESOME if…

  • Your ceremony + reception are not at the same venue.  Because we have ten hours, a little time on the road between venues isn’t going to make or break your timeline.
  • You’re planning a long ceremony, or full mass + communion.  Got ya covered! 😉
  • You LOVE well-styled details and want to make sure we have plenty of time to capture all of the little details you’ve hand-picked for your special day…like the rings, invitiation suite, sentimental jewelry, perfume, vow books, bridesmaids gifts, custom ring boxes, you-name-it.
  • You have an exceptionally large bridal party. Hurrah for lots of friends!
  • You want your FULL reception covered, from your first dance to toasts to that oh-so-photogenic sparkler exit you have planned!

ADVENTURE ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

You can add an adventure engagement session to any of the collections above!

I love it when couples decide to add an engagement session to their collection because it gives you a chance to hang out in front of my lens and realize just how awesome you are at photos before your wedding day ever rolls around.

Engagement sessions are my fav for three reasons:

 

  • We get to capture this sweet season of your story in a way that’s unique and different from your wedding day, but complimentary!  We’ll brainstorm a custom, true-to-you session that creatively captures who you are as a couple in a way that we might not have time for on your wedding day because of time and location restrictions.  It’s so fun.
  • It gives you a chance to relax and have fun in front of the camera before your wedding day.  I know…you’re probably thinking “Have fun?  In front of the camera?  Is she serious?” (She is serious.) Anyway, getting in front of the camera at an engagement sesson means that the day of you’ll have exactly zero nerves around having a camera pointed your way because you know how low-pressure, chill, and fun the portrait portion of the day is.  You might have wedding day nerves – and that’s normal!  But at least it won’t be about photos.
  • This feels obvious, but you’ll have photos!  You are welcome to use your photos for Save the Dates, your wedding website, guest book, and any other possible decor or additons you might want to create for your wedding day.  You’ll have options upon options of photos to choose from, and delightful memories of a fun evening well spent preserving the moments of this season for years to come!

Traditional style prints can be ordered directly from your online gallery after your session.  Prints will ship directly to you from my print lab when you place your order.  More print sizes are available in the online gallery, but above are a few of the most popular sizes for your reference.  Please note that you are free to take your photos to any lab of your choice to have them printed.

BOOKS

Memory Book – $449 

Classic hardcover 10×10 photo book with 100 pages of your wedding memories.  Book comes in multiple fabric colors, so you’ll be able to select the color that looks best with your wedding day vibes.  Also included is a full dust jacket with  multiple cover design options.  Pick a favorite photo for your dust jacket along with your title and tagline and you’ll have a stunning retelling of this chapter of your story.

ALBUMS

Linen Album – $995

Premium 10×10 layflat album with 25 pages/50 sides to display your favorite photos from your wedding day.  Album features ultra-thick layflat pages with a minimal gutter so images can span the full width of the album spread.  Book exterior comes in multiple fabric colors to match your wedding day aesthetic.  Title will be foil stamped in your choice of gold, silver, or rose gold.  This one is a beauty, and can be upsized to 12×12. Additional pricing available upon request.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

*RAISE YOUR HAND* if it’s just nice to know when your wedding photography payments will be due, and what to expect so you can plan!  Yes?!  YES.

The total of whatever wedding collection you select will be divided into four separate payments.  The first payment is due within seven days of signing your wedding photography contract.  The remaining three payments are due 90, 60, and 30 days respectively prior to your wedding date.  For example, if you are getting married 12/1/2022, your payments will be due 11/1/2022, 10/1/2022, 9/1/2022 (with the first payment due whenever you sign).

Excepted payment methods are via check, Zelle, or credit card.

TRAVEL EXPENSE

Travel expenses apply for weddings more than 30 minutes from my home in Plain City, Ohio (near Columbus, Ohio).  I calculate travel based on the going mileage rate.  I include an hour of free drive time for me and my second shooter, after which there is a charge of $75 per hour to cover our time traveling to your event.  Your custom travel quote will be calculated after we chat over coffee or Zoom, and you’ve had a chance to fill out a wedding proposal.  Once I receive your proposal, I’ll calculated distance/time to your event, and you’ll receive your custom travel quote along with a link to your contract.  You’ll have a chance to review your total travel expenses before signing your contract, in case you have any questions!
