Hey guys! This session was totally a totally a brainstorm and incredibly fun collaboration with my girl Roxanne of Perla Flor Designs, who BTW, did the STUNNING florals for this session. She and her husband Keith got married in August of 2017. K + R were due for a one year anniversary session and graciously agreed to be my guinea pigs to go after a session style that’s been on my creative heart/brain for awhile now.
Over the years, as I photographed couple after couple, I’ve come to ADORE not just the photographs we get at sessions, but creating a really fun EXPERIENCE in session for clients. Photos should NOT be about ‘performing well’ for the camera. It should be an ADVENTURE. Because Rox is one of my creative bffs, I brain-dumped my heart and vision for Adventure Sessions to her. A couple months later, we (me, Pete, Keith, and Rox) found ourselves on the road to Hocking Hills State Park cause who doesn’t love a little adventure to get photos at a waterfall?!
